An exciting new residency is taking place at The Imperial in Chelsea in February. After a series of pop-ups, including Middle-eastern masterchef Greg Malouf in August, the award winning River Cottage team will be moving in for an exclusive three day event on 11th, 12th, and 13th February 2016 from 6pm-10pm. It will be the first time River Cottage have ever been involved in a residency in London.
The 8 course tasting menu is being designed by the River Cottage team headed by Steven Lamb, their smoking and curing expert. Steven and his team will be using their expertise and knowledge to bring a little slice of the Dorset countryside to The Imperial’s dining room.
During the residency the kitchen will be overseen each evening by Steven Lamb. The Imperial and River Cottage are working closely together to deliver seasonality and sustainability which are big passions for both venues. This is definitely a foodie experience not to be missed!
Steven has been at River Cottage for a decade and is recognised as one of the linchpins of the whole operation. He teaches on several courses at the Cookery School, specialising in curing and smoking which will be showcased on the menu at The Imperial.
