Five-star ski-in/ski-out Aspen hotel, The Little Nell, is holding it’s second annual “Clip in with Christian” VIP cycling experience from 17th-20th August 2015. Coinciding with Colorado’s USA Pro Challenge, one of the largest cycling events in U.S. history and the state’s largest spectator event to date, guests will get to ride Aspen’s most scenic routes, enjoy VIP access to Stages 3 and 4 of the race, as well as wine and dine with The Little Nell.
The Little Nell’s bespoke biking experience is led by Christian Vande Velde, the 2012 USA Pro Challenge champion, with his friends and former pros George Hincapie and Craig Lewis. Guests are invited to unleash their cycling potential through coaching from this trio, in addition to receiving personalized nutrition plans and riding apparel.
The All-In Package costs £2,644 ($3,999) and includes a three-night stay at The Little Nell, all meals and snacks, riding kits, VIP tickets to Aspen’s Stages 3 & 4 of the USA Pro Challenge, and other surprises. If you wish to take a partner, then the Non-Riding Spouse package costs £1,322 ($2000) and includes access to all meals, and VIP tickets to Aspen’s Stages 3 & 4 of the USA Pro Challenge. Space is limited for Clip in with Christian to ensure all participants receive the highest level of attention.
Riders of all levels are welcome – they must bring their own bike, and all rides will be accompanied by Tom Hopper, team mechanic, as well as support vehicles stocked with food, beverage, and spare parts. Riders will be supplied with Skratch Mix bottles daily, pre-arrival amenities and detailed GPS information on each ride’s course, elevation and mileage, and Riders will receive three cycling kits for this experience, furnished by Garmin, BMC and The Little Nell.
The nearest airport is Aspen/Pitkin County Airport (ASE) (3 miles/15 mins by car) with direct flights across the US – The Little Nell offers complimentary transfers to and from the hotel. Direct flights from the UK fly into Denver International Airport (DIA) (220 miles from Aspen).
