On Monday the team headed to the British Fashion Awards 2013 at the London Coliseum, hosted by Jack Whitehall. The event was star-studded and glamorous, and was spent mingling with some very interesting people at the drinks reception, and anticipating the winners of the awards. Our favourite dressed stars on the red carpet were Sienna Miller, Daisy Lowe, and Tinie Tempah, all of them looked flawless, and Sienna Miller’s dress reminded us all of the one Keira Knightly wore in Atonement.

Voted for by over 300 members of the fashion industry, there were a few surprises. 16 awards were given out, with Burberry having a double celebration, winning both Designer Brand of the Year and Menswear Designer of the Year. Kate Moss won a Special Recognition Award for her services to the fashion industry over the past 25 years, and The honour of Outstanding Achievement in Fashion was awarded to Terry and Tricia Jones by collaborator, colleague and family friend, Dylan Jones OBE.

Miuccia Prada won the International Designer of the Year award, who has also been named in Time magazine’s list of the 100 Most Influential People of the 20th Century. Miuccia is renowned for her season defining collections that consistently set the agenda of the fashion industry, with my personal favourite being the SS12 collection.

Guests at the British Fashion Awards included Samantha Cameron, Donatella Versace, Gwyneth Paltrow, Sienna Miller, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Tinie Tempah. It was a really fantastic experience to be in the same room as some of the biggest names in the fashion industry, a huge thank you to the British Fashion Awards for having us.
